Gulf Coast Triathlon

Welcome to the Annual Gulf Coast Triathlon (GCT)! What began as an economic development idea has grown into the best long-course triathlon in the Southeast. Each year, 1500 triathletes converge on Panama City Beach and test their strength with a 1.2 mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, 56 mile bike through Bay County, and a 13.1 mile run in residential neighborhoods in PCB. The GCT is proud to be the Southeast's premier destination triathlon! Held every Mothers' Day weekend, the Gulf Coast Triathlon is the US' oldest not-for-profit triathlon. Rock By the Sea

Rock By The Sea is a 4 day/3 night music festival held at Spinnaker Beach Club featuring 18 artists and benefiting children's charities. More details to come soon. Rock By The Sea is a Florida not-for-profit organization dedicated to planning and producing music festivals and events that will raise money to financially assist deserving charities that provide direct services to those in need. We strive to create an outlet for these agencies to gain exposure with the public and facilitate donations. Through music concerts, silent auctions, selling merchandise and general donations, we create awareness and assistance.

Super Cup of Watercross

Watercross is the most exciting, fan friendly type of boat racing you will find! Closed course Personal Watercraft (PWC) racing and freestyle competition make for a great day at the beach! It combines the big-air jumps and stunts with exciting race action on the water with world class athletes and fans cheering them on to all the fun, family venues across the country. The UWP-IJSBA National tour consists of closed course racing which is a contest of speed and riding ability featuring several competitors negotiating multiple laps of a course approximately 1/2 mile consisting of left and/or right hand turns. Freestyle held at noon each day on event weekend and is intended to show a rider’s skill and expertise in executing difficult, challenging and creative maneuvers within a set period of time. There is a two minute time limit and the winner is determined by a panel of judges. This year's race will take place behind Boardwalk Beach Resort on May 18 and 19.

EVP Tour - The 2013 EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour is coming to Panama City Beach at the Boardwalk Beach Resort and will feature the top City vs City athletes and free agents. The EVP welcome party lets you and your teammates see your match placement and a chance to meet the EVP Tour staff. The EVP awards social is directly after the event from 8pm - 11pm.

First Annual REAL.FUN.BEACHFEST

Does your 'tween love music? If so, you won't want to miss the Real.Fun.BeachFest at the new Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater. Artists include:

The Wanted, a UK boy band phenomenon that recently won a People's Choice Award Cody Simpson, a teen heart-throb and Radio Disney award nominee Britt Nicole, a Christian pop turned mainstream pop artists Alex Angelo, a 12 year old DJ with exceptional dancing skills

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert will conclude around 10:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale April 22 at noon and there will be a Preferred Lawn ($54.00) and General Admission ($39.00) ticket. A link to purchase tickets will be posted here on April 22.

**This concert is lawn seating so be sure to bring your chair/blanket. No backpacks, coolers, food/beverages, umbrellas or pets are allowed. There is no reserved seating.

Salute to Freedom

Come celebrate Independence Day at the Panama City Marina with great live music, lots of food, and plenty of vendors. Home Depot will also have a kids workshop for the young ones to build something of their own. The night will end with a spectacular fireworks show at 9pm that will be simulcast with Magic Broadcasting stations!

Star Spangled Spectacular

Biggest Fireworks Display along the Gulf Coast plus the POPS Orchestra under the Stars and the Star Bursts!

Celebrate the 4th in style! Don't miss this spectacular event as the beach celebrates Fourth of July. Fun for the whole family, so come out and join us for a day of hometown fun. 9:00 a.m. Veterans Celebration at the Veteran's Memorial Park (adjacent to Aaron Bessant Park) Chairs will be provided for Vets and Families for the Morning Service.

7:30 p.m. POPS Performance in Aaron Bessant Park Bring your chairs, blankets and all the children.

9:00 p.m. Three Fireworks Shows all along the Gulf. City Pier, County Pier and Grand Lagoon.

Lobster Festival

Schooners, The Last Local Beach Club, will host the 23rd Annual Lobster Festival & Tournament again this year: the biggest 4-Day lobster festival in Florida. With huge Local Lobsters on the weigh-in scales, fresh lobster prepared every mouth-watering way you can imagine, and the 14th Annual Schooners Sand Sculpting Contest, it is a HUGE event that draws thousands of divers and lobster fans from all over the Southeast. Lobster Tournament divers will be competing in a variety of categories including Spiny Lobster, Shovelnose Lobster and Big 6. It will be held September 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23, 2013.

The final weigh-ins will begin Saturday and end Sunday when the grand prizes will be awarded and all the spectators enjoy a Lobster Feast! Fresh, fresh, FRESH local Lobster grilled, fried, sautéed, broiled, chilled, steamed, blackened, whole, halved, skewered...you get the idea.

Proceeds benefit the Florida Aquatic Marine Institute and the Toys For Kids Foundation.

Gulf Coast Jam

Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, a three-day celebration of sun, fun and country music, will debut its festival on the Gulf Coast shores of Panama City Beach, Florida from Thursday, September 26 to Saturday, September 28, 2013. The first artists to join the concert lineup at this year’s festival include 2013 Academy of Country Music Award nominees Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert and the Eli Young Band. Also appearing onstage will be leading country artists Trace Adkins, Kip Moore, The Charlie Daniels Band, Pepsi’s X Factor Winner Tate Stevens, Darryl Worley, Blackberry Smoke and Pepsi’s Southern Original Winner.

Comprised of six stages, Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam will provide the best of today’s country music for an audience of more than 15,000 people on the coast. During the day, three beachfront stages will be hosted by Edgewater Golf & Beach Resort, The Boardwalk Beach Resort and Seahaven Beach Resorts. Festival-goers will watch their favorite performers as they stand on the white “sugar sand” beach and dip their toes in the water. As the sun begins to set, patrons will ride free shuttles to the headline stage at Frank Brown Park. Once Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, and Trace Adkins close out their respective nights, the fun will continue at various venues across the destination. Columbus Day weekend will bring a wave of mischief and fun-filled adventures to Panama City Beach with The Fun Never Sets Pirates of the High Seas Fest. Taking place Columbus Day weekend throughout PCB, the festival will include an ensemble of parades, sword-swinging showdowns and dueling fireworks display.

PCB Seafood and Music Festival

The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) are co-owning and hosting the 2013 Panama City Beach Seafood and Music Festival. The festival will celebrate seafood, fishing, culinary arts, music, entertainment, arts and culture in Panama City Beach. More information will be released as the event gets closer.

Emerald Coast Cruizin

Emerald Coast Cruizin - The South's Best Blast from the Past family fun event. Thousands of classic cars, hot rods, custom cars and trucks make way to beautiful Panama City Beach. This year's event will be held at Aaron Bessant Park next to Pier Park.

Panama City Beach's breath taking emerald green coastline and the famous Miracle Strip gleams with chrome, hot colors, and the deep rumble of power. There will be over 125 + top name automotive vendors on hand, as well as a huge swap meet and car corral. Oh we also include a ladies section with great crafts, jewelry, and so much more.
