Live Music Panama City Beach FL

The only thing better than music in the air is music in the salt air.

And when it comes to live music venues, Panama City Beach is full of them.

Whether indoors or out, dance parties or jam bands, here’s our list of the Top 5 Places to listen to live music on our beach and beyond:

Aaron Bessant Park
600 Pier Park Drive
(850) 233-5045

The amphitheater at this 70-acre park is home to a free summer concert series that runs Thursday nights at 7 p.m. June through August, as well as the Chasin’ the Sun Music Festival each September. Bring chairs, blankets, coolers and food to sit on the grassy area in front of the stage.

Spinnaker Beach Club and Paradise Grill
8795 Thomas Drive
(850) 234-7892

Casual dining by day and rockin’ dance party by night. Order up your favorite American classics on the beach for lunch, or put on your heels and head to the club after dark. It’s family friendly until the sun sets, with live music on the waterfall deck. There’s a Groove Room and a Rock Arena, if that tells you anything.

Pineapple Willy’s
9875 South Thomas Drive
(850) 235-0928

A Panama City Beach favorite since 1984, Pineapple Willy’s is home to great seafood, great bands and a great little rummy concoction called the – you guessed it – Pineapple Willy. It’s a family-friendly establishment with friendly service, where the music is always good – from tributes bands to classic rock and country.

Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge
Pier Park, 700 S. Pier Park Drive
(850) 236-3459

Of Nashville fame, Tootsie’s has hit the beach, making a new home in Pier Park. Live entertainment comes straight from Music City, with a twang. The music starts Sunday to Friday at 4 p.m., and Saturdays at 6 p.m. Enjoy Southern food and cold drinks at Tootsie’s. (Cowboy boots and Daisy Dukes optional.)

Club La Vela
8813 Thomas Drive
(850) 235-1061

The largest nightclub in the United States boasts concerts from the top acts nationwide. Party with thousands as you listen to a full spectrum of pop hits to EDM, country to rock music.
